Genetic Testing
Family History Review
A medical and family history review, including the construction of a multi-generation family tree, is used to screen for the possibility of Lynch syndrome. A genetic counselor
usually conducts this screening process and assesses the family’s risk of Lynch syndrome. Further tests will be considered if the medical and family history review suggests
the possibility of Lynch syndrome.
